Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule Serum, Yay Or Nay?

Saem Eco Ampoule

The ever increasing demand for primary K-Beauty products in different parts of the world is driving constant change and innovation in the Korean beauty industry. Despite thousands of rival cosmetics companies, K-Beauty products dominate the industry. Thus, it has led to the blossoming of a single Korean skincare product that has captured the hearts of most female consumers. Introducing one of my favorite products, The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule.

When applied to normal or sensitive skin, the Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule serum helps keep the skin supple and hydrated. Rapidly restoring the smoothness and elasticity of your skin, it also helps to replenish moisture and improve the health of your skin.

After using the product, it is immediately absorbed by the skin and works its way deep into its layers, leaving behind neither an oily nor greasy sensation. Generally, applying the serum is necessary because it helps to stimulate the production of collagen in your skin, which in turn helps keep your skin firm and smooth out wrinkles and fine lines.

Ultimately, I have read numerous positive reviews of this product from satisfied female customers. Because of this, it piqued my interest to test it, conduct extensive research, and write a review. First, though, let’s get familiar with the beauty company before I get into the nitty-gritty of my product review.

Overview of The Saem Beauty Brand

The Saem Beauty products were developed by one of Korea’s best-known and most reputable cosmetics makers. It was first introduced in Korea in 2010, and just recently, it has taken hold to garner a massive buzz locally and internationally.

When it comes to the Korean cosmetics industry, they are a frontrunner. It’s a natural cosmetics company that uses cutting-edge extraction and production techniques to harness Mother Nature’s benefits in its products while maintaining its eco-friendly image.

Because the company adheres to the philosophy that natural elements are the foundation of wholesome beauty, the brand’s mission is to produce high-quality products with efficient natural ingredients that are chosen based on research on the effects of their ecological footprint.

In addition, it contains a few extraordinary and potent components found on the other side of the planet. It includes the harakeke plants native to New Zealand, which produce rich moisture, the native wintergreen plants in Newfoundland, and the glacier waters in Iceland.

The products offered by The Saem Beauty brand are distinguished by their unique formulations and high-quality standards while remaining competitively priced.

Product Claims

The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule claims to repair damaged skin and boost the efficacy of other skincare products. Because of the combination of Hyaluronic Acid and Harakeke extract (which together account for 85% of the product), your skin will stay exceptionally hydrated. Other than that, the product is infused with seven different nutrients, all of which work to alleviate the roughness and dryness of the skin while also rehydrating it, resulting in a smooth and radiant complexion.

Ingredients

Harakeke Plant Extract

Harakeke plant extract is added to formulas where high hydration levels are a priority because of its ability to increase cellular water retention. Linoleic acid is abundant in this botanical moisturizer, and it works to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier, reduce redness, and slow down the aging process.

Calendula Flower

Calendula Flower is an all-natural botanical component derived from marigold flowers and works to prevent the signs of aging by making the skin tauter and retaining more moisture. Additionally, this component acts as a skin conditioner, calming irritated and reddened skin while lowering the risk of developing dry skin.

Manuka Honey

This ingredient is a naturally occurring humectant that promotes supple, more youthful skin by locking in moisture. The anti-inflammatory properties of manuka honey help reduce inflammation and calm irritated skin while removing acne scars.

Glycerin

We can thank this ingredient’s natural moisturizing properties for keeping our skin looking healthy. It has been in use for over half a century and is a very common safe, beneficial, cost-effective, and widespread molecule. It is more than just a moisturizer and prevents irritation, restores the skin’s barrier function, and maintains a healthy state for the lipids that sit between our skin cells.

Butylene Glycol

The colorless, syrupy liquid butylene glycol has many uses—an excellent option for making something that feels good to the touch. More specifically, the primary function of the component is typically to act as a solvent for the other ingredients. Some of the other things it does facilitate a quicker and more thorough absorption of the product into the skin. Its ability to spread evenly over the skin and draw moisture to it are all additional benefits.

Dimethicone

It is safe to say that dimethicone is the silicone that is used the most frequently. Since it is a polymer (made up of repeating subunits), it comes in a wide range of molecular weights, each corresponding to a distinct range of viscosities, from that of water to that of a thick liquid.

In skin care, it imparts a silky feel, adds a hint of shine, and acts as a barrier (or “occlusive” in scientific jargon) to keep moisture and harmful elements out. In addition, it does an excellent job of filling in wrinkles and fine lines and imparting a fuller appearance to the skin. Dimethicone is also the main component in scar treatment gels, which become less noticeable and more elastic on the skin.

Daucus Carota Sativa Root Extract

Many famous skincare lines have added root extracts to their formulas. It is due to its efficacy in eradicating hyperpigmentation, reducing inflammation, and repairing and reducing scarring.

The oil-soluble extract found in The Saem Urban Eco Ampoule comes from the carrot’s edible orange flesh, which is known as Daucus Carota Sativa. Carrot oil, also known as carrot root oil, can be produced by macerating carrot roots in a carrier oil such as olive oil. This process yields either carrot oil or carrot roots oil.

Beta-carotene, also known as vitamin A, can be found in the root extract, which is why it is known for its orange color. It is well-known for its antioxidant, tanning, and skin-replenishing properties; this molecule has gained widespread attention in recent years. In addition, carrot oil possesses antioxidant and barrier-repairing capabilities thanks to the presence of vitamin E and certain fatty acids.

What are the benefits of The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule?

A powerful serum, that’s what most women call The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule. It is because the product restores moisture to the skin instantly, locks in hydration to strengthen the skin’s natural defenses, and calms and soothes different types of skin.

You can indulge yourself in making your skin look younger and brighter with The Saem Urban Eco Ampoule, and here are some benefits it can provide.

Comparatively, the serum’s hydrating power is three times that of Aloe Vera and olive oil. As mentioned, it helps to restore a radiant glow to the skin and fights any signs of surface dullness. Thus, as you age, you may require a more incredible amount of hydration which the ampoule will surely provide for you.

For every woman, it is important to note that a routine that includes moisturizing and hydrating your skin is essential to any good skincare routine. And the secret to skin that is both plump and supple—even slightly bouncy to the touch—is better hydration.

Now, let’s talk about the skin-healing properties of calendula flower extracts, shall we? This extract is an important component of the ampoule and can benefit your skin in various ways. In several research studies, the Calendula flower extract has antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.

It also reduces inflammation, keeps you hydrated, slows the aging process, and speeds up wound healing. What’s more, it has fatty acids that help keep your skin supple and hydrated. Hence, it can banish dry skin with the help of calendula!

Other benefits of the product include supplying nutrients necessary for reinforcing the skin’s natural moisture defenses. Lastly, your skin will benefit from the maximum hydration provided by the Harakeke extract and the Hyaluronic acid.

All of the essential components of this serum are sourced from New Zealand. Researching the Harakeke was something I had to do because I was utterly unfamiliar with them. It is also known for its other name, called New Zealand flax.

The plant is visually similar to the aloe vera plant, but the Harakeke has much smaller and more delicate leaves. Moreover, it makes the skin feel soft and supple, with no signs of dryness or peeling, and the protective barrier is strengthened. On the other hand, hyaluronic acid creates a film on the skin’s surface, enabling the skin to keep its natural amount of moisture.

The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule: How to Use It

I use the ampoule right after finishing my toner and after cleansing. You can also use the Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Toner, but first, you need to put on the ampoule and then the toner. But if you use an extremely gentle toner, you can apply the ampoule after applying the toner.

Pinch a small amount of the ampoule into your skin and spread it over your face. After that, give your face a few gentle taps and wrap it in your hands for a few seconds to help warm up your skin and to get the blood flowing. And there we have it! Imagine how much more radiant and supple your skin would appear.

Conclusions I’ve Come to About The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule

What do I think of The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Ampoule? It’s incredible! I personally like it as it makes my skin stay moist yet at the same time is not greasy. Since I have rough and dry skin, I’ve been looking for a non-irritating, oil-free serum that keeps my skin hydrated without leaving a greasy residue. Thus, the product helps me achieve better results because it leaves my skin looking radiant and revitalized after using it.

Besides, I like that it does not feel heavy on my face and has a pleasant, clean scent reminiscent of green tea products. The product on its own is fantastic because it absorbs quickly, and a single application is sufficient for an entire day. Other than that, the packaging was amazingly stylish. The bottle’s olive-green glass gradient is stunning, and the screw-on cap ingenuity is unparalleled.

In general, I’d say that it’s a good product, and those with dry or sensitive skin, in particular, would benefit from using it, so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
